Day 04: Morning visit the Nitch Sar park with remarkable views over the lakes and different mammals, as the endemic Swaynes Hartebeest, Zebras, lesser Kudu, and others. Day 05: Drive to Turmi, crossing the Konso and Derashe people and village, with particular culture, traditions way of life and more. They are famous on terracing style agriculture. Day 09: Continue for the Mago Park and camp of bank of the Neri River, admiring various animals, among which different antelopes and birds, at night camping.
Day 10: proceed to the Mursi people and villages, Admire thse tribes, where for beauty women use to put clay plates in to their lips , men have different scarification and more particularities, visit their way of life in the villages, etc and continue to Jinka village for dinner and at night local hotel.

Day 12: Continue for the Borena people and afternoon drive to Elsod crater , from where Borena men extract salt. Visit some of their villages at night Yabelo local hotel or camping.

Day 01:: Arrive Addis Ababa.

Day 08: Morning drive to Omorate to visit the Dasanech (Geleb people) the either side of the Omo River then to Turmi in the afternoon and visit if there is market or bull jumping ceremony.
Day 09: Proceed to konso, visit konso village Mecheke and new.
Day 10: Drive to Arba-minch and visit the gifted Nechsar National Park. Afternoon in time permits procad for a boat trip on Lake Chamo to see the hippopotamus, big pest Crocodiles and pelican bird colonies.

Day 1: City tour in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa is the third highest capital of the world on an altitude of 2300-2500 m. with a pleasant climate and a background of green with eucalyptus trees covered mountains. The city is founded in 1886 by Emperor Menelik II and Queen Taitu.
Visit Entoto Mountains, with very nice view over the capital, the National/Ethnographic museum, St George church and the Merkato, biggest open air market in Africa. Overnight stay in the hotel.


Day 2: drive to Awassa through Great Rift Valley
Today en route you will make a stop on Awash River and Lake Ziway to visit aquatic birds. Lake Ziway, the shallowest lake in the rift valley chain of lakes which depth 7m. Its extensive aquatic vegetation attracts a variety of water birds. Commonly seen and easily identified are; Saddle-billed stork, greater jacana, African fish eagle, darter, herons, darters and Wood hoope. In Awassa you can also walk around the ditch to for nice sunset and aquatic birds. Overnight stay in hotel

Day 3: drive to Arbamnch via wolayita
Today before starting drive to Arba Minch you will visit the scenic morning Fish market in Awassa where the fisher man sell his fresh Tilapia, Catfish, and Barbus whereas Pelicans and Storks are competing to take the left over. You can also spot Black and White Colbous monkey around the Amor Gedele. En route make a stop and visit Wolayta villages. Overnight stay in hotel at Arba Minch

Day 4: boat trip to Lake Chamo & in the afternoon drive to Dorze village
Make a boat trip on Lake Chamo where the longest and fattest crocodiles of Africa take a sunbath on the shores. Hippos hide themselves under the water and you will also see a good range of birds including; weavers, sunbirds, waxbills and colonies of pelicans.

Having a lunch drive to Dorze, the road slowly ascends to the top, where it gives you a panoramic view to the Lake Abaya and Lake Chamo then visit the Dorze village. The Dorze are famous for constructing distinguished beehive shaped huts, terrace cultivation and the best weaving work of Ethiopia. Overnight stay in hotel at Arba Minch.

Day 5: drive to Jinka via Keyafer.
Passing the terraced mountains of Konso with magnificent views into Weyto valley you drive to Jinka, if you the day is Thursday you will have the opportunities to visit the Key afar market, which gather; the Hammer, Benna, Ari and Tsmay tribes. Depending on your arrival you can visit also the Ethnographic museum of Jinka. Overnight stay in hotel

Day 6: excursion tour to Mursi village via Mago national park
To visit the Mursi you cross a part of the Mago NP on a track through the bush where many Dikdiks (small antelopes) and gazelle can be seen on the savanna plains.
The Mursi are well known for the big clay plates the women bear in their lower lip and ear. The origin of this tradition is not known but the Mursi themselves consider it as something that makes them distinguish from the surrounding tribes and to make the women unattractive for slave-market. But nowadays it is considered as a sign of beauty and wealth. Overnight stay in hotel

Day 7: drive to Turmi via Key Afer-Demeka
Drive to Turmi a small town of Hammer people. Visit the Hammer village. They are well-known for their Bull-Jumping ceremony and Evangadi dance. The Bull-Jumping occur when young boys reach the age of marriage he have to jump three times over the backs of a long row of bulls without falling. If this succeeds they have passed to adulthood from childhood. Overnight stay in hotel

Day 8: excursion tour to Omorate Village
Today you drive through the wilderness of the Omo valley to the Dassanech (or Galeb) who are living on the other side of the Omo River. To reach their village you cross the river in a canoe which is made of a hollow tree. Overnight stay in hotel

Day 9: excursion tour to Murille to visit Karo village
Drive to Murille to visit the Karo village Kolcho. The Karo people are thought to be one of the most endangered groups of the omo valley people. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 10: drive to Konso to visit the world heritage site
The society of the Konso boasts a rich culture and a highly specialized and successful agricultural economy by their indigenous way of terracing the steep slopes for cultivation of sorghum and different grains. Day 11: Drive to Yabello
In the morning you drive to Yabelo through semi-arid area of Borena. The Borenas are semi-nomadic tribe and you can see a small flock of camels with their Borena owners here and there. Overnight stay in hotel

Day 12: drive Yirgalem
Today you drive through the region of the Gedeo and Sidama people. The hills and mountains are intensively cultivated in this densely populated area. Overnight stay in Aregash lodge, a peaceful view to green valley and to intense tranquility, with hyena and the sound of many birds. Overnight hotel

Day 13: drive back to Addis Ababa via Tiya standing standing stone& melka kunter
On your way back to Addis Ababa via an alternative route through Ziway-Butajira, the green and fertile are of the Gurage people you can visit UNESCO registered the 600 – 800 years old Tiya stelae field and the interesting Melka-Kunture archeological site where thousands of Stone Age tools are found. There is also a small but interesting museum. Late in the afternoon have a farewell dinner then check-in for flight back home.

Day 3: In the morning, depart to Arba Minch for a boat trip on Lake Chamo to visit the “crocodile market”, and the local hippos. Afterwards, depart from Arba Minch to Turmi. On the way you will pass through the village of Weyto (market day Saturday), which is home to the Tsemai tribe. Continue through the Weyto Valley to Erbore, where you will have a brief visit to a local Erbore village (market day is Saturday). Finally, proceed to Turmi, home of the Hamer tribe. Day 4: In the morning, take a day trip to Omorate to visit the Dassenech tribe. Here you will cross the Omo River by local boat and enter a Dassenech village. Afterwards, return to Turmi (Monday is market day) for a visit to a local Hamer village. If there is Jumping of the Bulls traditional Hamer coming-of-age ceremony, that will be visited. Overnight in Turmi (camping, basic hotel or lodge).

Day 5: Depart for Jinka, via Dimeka and Key Afar. Tuesdays and Saturdays are market days in Dimeka, which is one of the most colorful markets in the area and is visited by many tribes, including Hamer, Benna and Karo. Afterwards, continue to Jinka. Overnight in Jinka (camping, hotel or lodge).

Day 6: In the morning, drive through the Mago National Park to a local village of the Mursi tribe. The Mursi are known for their lower lip and earlobe plates. In the afternoon, after returning to Jinka, you can visit the South Omo Museum & Research Center to learn more about the local tribes. Alternatively, take a hike in the surrounding hills to visit a local Ari village. Overnight in Jinka (camping, hotel or lodge).

Day 7: After breakfast, depart from Jinka to Arba Minch via Key Afar and Konso. Thursday is market day in Key Afar, where you will see the Benna and Tsemai tribes trading goods. The Karo people, while the smallest tribe of the Omo Valley in number, are also known to be the most decorated. After the visit,return to Turmi for another opportunity to see Jumping of the Bulls. Day 7: Depart for Jinka, via Dimeka and Key Afar. Tuesdays and Saturdays are market days in Dimeka, which is one of the most colorful markets in the area and is visited by many tribes, including Hamer, Benna and Karo. Afterwards, continue to Jinka. Overnight in Jinka (camping, hotel or lodge).

If there is time, visit the Yabello Wildlife Sanctuary for a chance to see zebras. Overnight in Yabello (hotel).

Day 11: Early in the morning take an excursion south to visit El Sod, a village that is home to a crater lake with a large salt deposit called the House of Salt (chow bet). This is the land of the Borena people, a large nomadic ethnic group that extends deep into Kenya. After the visit, proceed driving to Yirgalem. Here you can enjoy an evening coffee ceremony while watching the hyenas in the surrounding forest. Overnight in Yirgalem (lodge).
